PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Trade rumors have circulated about just about every player on the Phillies so far this season. Domonic Brown’s name has been mentioned often, Jonathan Papelbon is the subject of many rumors, and just last week the Phillies were reportedly ready to listen to offers for both Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels.
Add Jimmy Rollins to the list.
According to ESPN’s Buster Olney, the Phillies are willing to deal the shortstop who is under contract for the 2014 season, and has a vesting option that could be worth $11 million in 2015.
“[The Phillies have] made clear to other teams, as it did during the summer, that it is very willing to move Jimmy Rollins,” Olney tweeted. “Has a no-trade clause, tho.”
