(CBS) — A Crown Point man has been killed – acting as a good Samaritan – just hours after his own wedding.
The Lake County Sheriff’s office says a woman driving in Crown Point around midnight slid off the road and her car ended up in a ditch near 109th and Lane Street.
49-year-old William Riley Knight of Crown Point was driving along with his new bride.
And Lake County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Patti Van Til says Knight stopped.
