DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) — Areas hit hardest by the weekend storm have road crews working to clear the snow and ice as quickly as possible, but in Bucks County, the storm didn’t keep some people from getting out and making the most of their Saturday.
“We can walk to a restaurant from where we live, and it’s a beautiful night out,” said Doylestown resident Jane Olsen.
The snow lined streets convinced many to go outside and enjoy the night, like Ross Hill.
“The time to be out here is probably about 3am,” Hill said. “Once all the bars are closed, it gets quiet. That’s the time to be out here. It’s awesome.”
Though people were out and about in Doylestown, it was still very cold out. Several people had creative ways to stay warm.
Jeremy Depteler exercized the 21-and-over option.
