In this weekend’s “Celtics @ 7,” Adam Kaufman opened the show asking how the C’s should handle Jordan Crawford’s success upon the return of Rajon Rondo. Should the surprising play of the newly-successful point guard be a case of “sell high,” or should he basically split minutes with Rondo while leading Boston’s second unit.
Kaufman posses that same question in the second segment to Hoops World’s Jess Camerato, and the two go on to discuss the play of rookie Vitor Faverani, Doc Rivers’ reception at the Garden, and the rest of reunion week. The two also look ahead to this week’s games with the Timberwolves and Pistons.
The show wraps up with Kaufman’s thoughts on Rivers’ return and why the Celtics’ long-time coach should have received more boos than he did. Given the treatment of Ray Allen when he came back with Miami, the fans exhibited a double-standard.
