Cancer – In your Twenties.

This past week was a shocking time for many of the people I’ve grown up with my whole life. If you are from Cobb County, youve probably heard the story of Michelle Wexler.

Michelle and I went to highschool together, and many of my friends were very close to her. This past week she died of uterine sarcoma, a rare cancer. Just a few short days after finding it had spread to her brain, she was gone.

Even for those who didn’t know Michelle well, this has been extrememly impactful to the community. She was a teacher of the year, and a positive influence to many around her.

The loss has really stopped all of us in our tracks, and has made many of us think – my god, this could be any of us. Who in the world, so young, walks around and thinks that cancer might end their…
