TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) – An annual survey of New Jersey business suggests things are looking a lot brighter than they have in the last few years.
The New Jersey Business and Industry Association asks more than a thousand members to evaluate the state of things these days, and look ahead to the following year.
For the fourth year in a row, prospects look bright, and Association President Philip Kirschner says the bullish vision for 2014 extends to employment, with a quarter of respondents planning to bring on more staff.
“People are more confident that they can take on people and have the consistent demand for their services and products to keep a person employed.”
57% expect sales to increase next year. Just about every sector is expecting a better year ahead, mostly because this year has been pretty good.
