PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It’s a first-time event for Philadelphia, and it promises to be something you won’t want to miss.
“This year, in honor of our 50th anniversary, the Pennsylvania Ballet has decided to have a ‘Nutcracker Market.’ It’s an indoor event at the Kimmel Center, on December 7th and 8th,” says Tracy Wenzinger, a trustee for the Pennsylvania Ballet.
“Our fifty vendors come from across the United States and here in Philadelphia, including one of our dancers, who makes her own dancewear. Items from crafts to clothing — to doggy apparel,” Wenzinger (right) notes.
And there’s more:
“For those who don’t want to necessarily shop, there will be acts performing on stage. Irish dancers, tap dancers, Asian dancers, Indian dancers, a Baptist choir.”
